Our Commitment to Accessibility
Aisthesis Medical Ltd is committed to ensuring that our websites and digital platforms—including our main site and any associated portals, dashboards, or applications—are accessible to all users, including people with disabilities.
We believe in providing an inclusive online experience that is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust, consistent with recognised global accessibility standards. Our goal is to make our digital content usable by everyone, regardless of ability or assistive technology.
What We Comply With
We continuously review and improve our websites to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)—currently targeting WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance.
Key measures we have implemented:
- Colour Contrast: Adequate contrast between text and background for users with low vision or colour deficiencies.
- Readable Text: Clear, legible fonts that can be resized without loss of content or functionality.
- Navigation and Structure: Consistent, logical navigation for straightforward browsing.
- Headings and Semantic HTML: Structured HTML (e.g., heading tags, lists, landmarks) to support screen readers.
- Accessible Forms: Forms include proper labels, instructions, and error messages readable by assistive devices.
- Time-Based Media: Slideshows, animations, or other moving content can be paused, stopped, or controlled by users.
- Page Titles and Link Text: Descriptive titles and meaningful link text for clarity.
- Language and Readability: Clear, consistent language, avoiding unnecessary jargon.
- Content Order and Responsiveness: Logical reading order, responsive design for all devices and screen sizes.
What We Are Working On
While we strive to meet accessibility standards, some areas are still being improved. Ongoing work includes:
- Adding alternative text (alt text) for all non-text content, including images and icons.
- Ensuring all content and interactive elements can be navigated and operated using only a keyboard.
- Providing captions and transcripts for audio and video materials, and written alternatives for multimedia content.
We are actively enhancing accessibility across our sites and applications as part of our continuous improvement commitment.
Compliance Status
Our website is currently partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
We continue to review and refine content, design, and underlying code to achieve full compliance.

Accessibility is an evolving process, and your feedback is invaluable in helping us ensure our digital platforms remain accessible and user-friendly.

Although the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 do not apply to Aisthesis as a private company, we voluntarily commit to aligning with these principles and maintaining a high standard of digital accessibility.
