ABOUT ME

Ioannis is currently completing his Ph.D. in Clinical Medicine Research at the Hamlyn Centre for Robotic Surgery and the Department of Surgery and Cancer at Imperial College London.

Through Artificial Intelligence, Ioannis has developed a surgical imaging system to guide surgeons with the complete tumour resection during gastrointestinal cancer surgery. Ioannis received his MEng and MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Crete in 2017 and 2019, respectively.
