ABOUT ME

Vasilis, the Co-founder and COO of Aisthesis Medical, is recognized as a Forbes 30U30 honoree in Greece. He holds a Ph.D. from UniversitätsSpital and ETH Zurich, where his research focused on the development and validation of digital biomarkers in epilepsy surgery.

He also holds a MEng. degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Crete. In industry he has worked at IBM as a BI Engineer and at CERN as a Big Data Engineer at CERN, specializing in Big Data Analytics. Vasilis has >5 years of industrial experience in AI development and clinical translation, has authored 10 scientific papers, and he has been awarded with several scholarships.
